Liz McAdam hails from Glasgow, Scotland, where she originally trained as a hairstylist for three years. Seeking to further develop her career, Liz move to Milan for seven years where she continued to hone her skills in Italian style, cuts and color. She ultimately landed in Los Angeles, where she has been building experience over the course of 15 years providing specialized hair color, extensions and Brazilian Keratin treatments.
An Aveda Institute New York graduate, Megan joined Urban Escape Salon in June of 2010 and brings six years of experience as a hairstylist and colorist, specializing in Italian cuts and high quality natural color treatments that leaves your hair healthy and looking great. Her career involved fulfilling an assistant role for over a year followed by work as a full-time hairstylist and colorist at Xenas Beauty Company in NYCs West Village under owner, head stylist and Framesi Lifetime Achievement Award honoree, Xena Parsons. During this time, Megan been honored as Teammate of the Year for two consecutive years, achieved consistently high client retention records, entrusted to lead cut and color classes, and attained Master Colorist Certification for the Framesi color line. She also has experience as a stylist for weddings, fashion shows and photo shoots, and has worked with many different product lines including Pureology, Barex Italia, Aeto Botanica, TIGI, Aveda, and others.
